From the beginning of all languages, to the specifics of how each different written language came about, there is a LOT of interesting information to read and hear. Great tour guides also!
Great place to visit and learn the history of JAARS.
Small country museum but fascinating for anyone with a linguistic interest. Traces the origins of all languages. Excellent displays. So well curated. And information overload. Will take more than one visit to absorb.
Yes, the name of the museum is a bit of a snoozer, but if you're interested in written language this place is a must-visit.
What a hidden gem! Fascinating museum with interactive exhibits, beautiful layout and presentation. Integration of languages with the various cultures of each was fantastic. The lack of emphasis on the bible translation work, except in historical context, was appreciated. A bit off the beaten track, but well worth the visit.
This is a great multimedia exhibition for visitors of all ages. The museum tells the story of how alphabets were created from ancient history to modern times. The quiz boxes along the way help visitors are fun!
